Just like grandma used to make, this delicious Easy Applesauce Cake is so satisfying. Applesauce cakes are great for using up pantry staples in your home. In exchange for basic ingredients, you get an amazing spice cake!
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare an 8-inch baking pan with non-stick spray.
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar.
Add in the applesauce and mix well.
Add in the flour, baking soda, cinnamon and cloves and mix just until combined.
Fold in the walnuts and raisins.
Pour the batter into your prepared dish and bake for 40-45 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
Sprinkle with the powdered sugar, cut and serve!
