Make the cake:
Preheat oven to 350º Fahrenheit.
Line a 9" x 13" cake pan with parchment paper and spray with cooking spray. Set aside.
In a large bowl, combine the butter and sugars with an electric mixer. Beat for 2 minutes until light and fluffy.
Add apple butter and vanilla extract, beating until combined.
In a separate medium bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and apple pie seasoning.
Add half of the dry mixture to the apple butter mixture, incorporate thoroughly, then incorporate the remaining half until just combined.
Spread mixture into the prepared cake pan.
Bake for 40-50 minutes, until an inserted toothpick or cake tester comes out clean.
Make the frosting:
Beat together the cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar and vanilla extract for 2 minutes or until completely smooth. Add cream if desired to thin out the frosting.
Spread the cream cheese frosting on the cooled apple butter cake.
