Why you’ll love this recipe:

  • No need to turn on the oven. Make this quickly in your air fryer.
  • Makes a small 6″ or 8″ round cake.
  • Uses a cookie mix to keep it quick.
  • Delicious served warm with ice cream on top.

Ingredients:

  • Snickerdoodle cookie mix: You can use any type of cookie mix. If you use the chocolate chip cookie dough mix, then you don’t need to use the chocolate chips as well.
  • Cinnamon-sugar packet: Snickerdoodle cookie mixes come with a cinnamon-sugar packet. You can omit it if you wish or add a few tablespoons of a cinnamon-sugar mixture to a different cookie. The cinnamon sugar will make your cookie more of a spiced chocolate chip cookie. Add as much as you prefer or leave it out entirely.
  • Salted butter: If you decide to use salted butter instead, you can do so, just add an extra pinch of salt.
  • Large egg
  • Milk: Feel free to use half and half or heavy cream instead. You can also use a different type of milk if you prefer.
  • Semi-sweet chocolate chips

How to Make A Cookie Cake in an Air Fryer

  • Preheat the air fryer to 340 degrees Fahrenheit and spray a 6 or 8 inch pan cake pan with cooking spray.
  • In a bowl, mix together the snickerdoodle cookie mix, ½ of the cinnamon-sugar packet (optional), salted butter, large egg, and milk until fully combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips and then press the dough into the bottom of the cake pan.
  • Sprinkle the rest of the cinnamon sugar mixture over the top, optional.
  • Bake in the air fryer at 340 degrees F for 10 minutes. Then reduce the temperature to 310 degrees Fahrenheit and place the pan back in the fryer for another 6 minutes or until the middle has set and the top is golden brown.
  • Remove and let your cookie cake cool before serving.

Recipe Variations

This cookie cake can be changed up just like you would change a cookie! Instead of semi-sweet chocolate chips you could use milk chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, dark chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, or butterscotch chips. In fact, any other of your favorite cookie ingredients, like sprinkles, caramel bits, toffee bits, chocolate chunks, etc., can be added to this cookie cake.

Another great thing about this cookie cake is that the low temperature of the air fryer bakes the cookie all the way through very nicely. This allows it to be a great replacement for an actual cake so, once it’s baked, you can carefully take it out of the cake pan and decorate it, like you would a cake, for whatever occasion. Make it a birthday cake, or a Christmas cake, etc. Then just enjoy everyone’s surprise when they bite into a delicious cookie instead!

How do I store my Air Fryer Cookie Cake?

Cover and store any leftover cookie at room temperature for 2-3 days. You can also freeze this cookie cake for up to 12 months.
