So I’ve been all about peaches lately. Like absolutely been loving them. I bought some highly recommended peaches in Colorado on our recent vacation and they were so tasty that I knew when I got back home I hopped on the peach wagon and made delicious coffee cakes and peaches and cream cake.
But today is something just a little different. A dump cake made in crockpot. Slow cooker peaches and cream cake!

Can you make cake in a slow cooker?
Yes!! Slow cooker cakes have long been one of my favorite desserts! They are easy, you can set it and forget it and then all of a sudden with little to no effort you have this dessert that you can dig into. You’ll be overfilled with joy that you really didn’t have to work hard for it, but now you gotta work hard after you eat it, if you catch my drift.
Ingredients for a Slow Cooker Dump Cake
Like previously stated this cake is super easy to throw together. All you need is:
- A can of peach pie filling. And if you want more peaches, use two cans.
- Cream cheese
- Sugar
- Vanilla
- Cake mix. White, yellow or butter golden is delicious, but spice cake would work well too.
- Butter. We prefer salted butter.
Say what?! I mean since when do you have a cake with minimal ingredients taste so good? Yes, slow cooker cakes taste amazing! For real!
How to Make Slow Cooker Peaches and Cream Cake
- In slow cooker add your peach pie filling and spread to cover bottom.
- In bowl mix together your cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until combined, dollop over peach filling.
- Sprinkle your cake mix over the top of your peaches and spread out evenly.
- Drizzle with melted butter, cover and cook on high for 3 hours or low for 5-6 hours.

This cake will be your next go to easy snack, dessert, midnight treat, you name it! Fun for all ages it is the perfect thing to throw together for company and you can easily switch it up with different flavors that the possibilities are endless!
- Use a different type of pie filling. Think blueberry or cherry…or even apple!
- Double the pie filling or add fresh fruit with pie filling for more amazing fruit flavor.
- Can’t eat dairy? Leave out the cream filling!
- Use any flavor cake mix you’d like to match the fruit.
- Add nuts or cinnamon.

Ingredients
- 21 ounces peach pie filling (1 can)
- 8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 box white cake mix (15.25 ounces)
- 1/2 cup salted butter (melted)
Instructions
- In slow cooker add your peach pie filling and spread to cover bottom.
